Bitlayer-USDC Official Token Swap Announcement

Dear Bitlayer Community Users,

To comply with Circle’s protocol requirements and strategically integrate Circle into the Bitlayer ecosystem, we will conduct a contract replacement for the current USDC Token on September 12th at 07:30 to 08:00 (UTC+0).

Here are the key details of the update:

1. Token Name Change: The previous USDC Token (Contract Address: 0x9827431e8b77e87c9894bd50b055d6be56be0030) will be renamed USDC.e. The new USDC contract address is 0xf8c374ce88a3be3d374e8888349c7768b607c755. Please note that some crypto wallets may not update the token name immediately, so you need to verify using the contract address if necessary.

2. Security Assurance: During the adjustment period, bridge functions on the Bitlayer chain may be temporarily affected. We will ensure all processes are compliant and that your assets are safeguarded to the fullest extent, with minimal disruption.

3. Token Conversion: USDC.e holders will need to manually swap their tokens for the new USDC. Please follow the tutorial linked below to complete the swap: Conversion Tutorial

Users who complete the token swap will receive 1,000 points as a reward.
